The candidate should have also cleared certain tests like NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET and should have a Ph.D. as well. Educational qualifications and specializations required: 

1) For the post of Guest/part-time teacher to work in the Department of Agriculture and Animal Sciences
The individual candidate must have a master’s degree in the field of Agricultural Economics from any recognized university. The qualification must be backed by a minimum of 55% marks. In case of SC and ST the required candidate should have secured 50% marks or should have an equivalent OGPA. 
The candidates should also have a cleared the ICAR-NET or Ph.D. in the prescribed field. 

2) For the post of Assistant Librarian (temporary) to work in the Department of Library Science
The candidate should have pursued a master’s degree in library and information science/ in documentation science or in Information science, or should have an equivalent professional degree in the similar fields. The candidate must have completed the education with a minimum of 55% marks along with NET or SET. 
The desired requirement is that of Ph.D.
The candidate must have a keen knowledge of library automation (KOHA software) and should also have a good command of MARC format. 

How will be the selection process of Teacher Vacancy

 The selection process will start from 10:00 am in the Board Room, Administrative Block of the Gandhigram Rural Institute. 
NOTE: The candidates are supposed to provide their original evidence of the particulars when they come for the Walk-In-Interview without failure.

What is the eligibility requirement for this post of Kerala PSC Notifications 2018?

Age limitation: the candidate should belong to the age group of 18 – 41. The candidates who were born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.1999 (both the dates included) can only apply for this post of Kerala PSC Ophthalmic Assistant Vacancy 2018 (there is no further age relaxation allowed).
