Details of Lok Sabha Recruitment 2017

Name of the post – Parliamentary Reporter

No of vacancies – 20

Salary – 15600-39100 + Grade pay Rs.5400/-

Job Location – Delhi

Parliament of India Job Notification no – 1/2017 

Education Qualification:
Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university and shorthand speed of 160 words per minute in English/Hindi, Preference will be given for candidates having Certificate in computer course recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)/Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Courses (DOEACC) or courses equivalent to 'O' Level in terms of syllabus and duration of course as prescribed by DOEACC.

Selection Procedure

Selection for this parliamentary reporter vacancy will be made on the basis of Stenography test, written test and Personal Interview.

Stenography Test – For 100 marks with speed of 160 w.p.m. of 10 minutes duration to be transcribed within 1 hour 30 minutes in English and 1 hour 55 minutes For Hindi Stenography Test.

Written Test – For 100 marks with 50 minutes duration 
a) General Knowledge and Current Affairs for 50 Marks
b) General English for 50 marks

Personal Interview – Candidates those who qualify in the written test will be called for Personal interview which will be conducted for 10 Marks
