Selection Procedure

Selection for this Civil Judge vacancy in Karnataka High court will be made on the basis of Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, Viva Voce and Computer Test.

A) Preliminary Exam 
 This test will be of objective type question paper for 100 marks, The subjects included in this exam are, 

Part A – Code of Civil Procedure 1908, Negotiable Instruments Act 1981, Transfer of Property Act 1882, Indian Contract Act 1872, Specific Relief Act 1963, Indian Constitution and Karnataka Rent Act 1999.

Part B – Code of Criminal Procedure 1973, Indian Penal Code 1860, Indian Evidence Act 1872
Part C – General Knowledge (Test of Reasoning and Mental ability

B) Main Exam 
Translation Paper – For 100 Marks
Law Paper 1 – For 100 Marks
 Law Paper 2 – For 100 Marks
Law Paper 3 – For 100 Marks

C) Viva Voce – For 100 marks 

D) Computer Test – For 25 Marks
