What is the elegibility criteria for CBSE Udaan?

  • If you are in class 11th or 12th of a KV, NV, Govt School, CBSE Affiliated school or other board affiliated school, then you can apply.
  • Only Indian students can apply.
  • Minimum 70% overall in 10th standard with 80% marks in science and maths with minimum CGPA of 8 and GPA of 9 in Science and Maths.
  • Reservations: OBC (NCL) - 27 % , SC - 15 % , ST - 7.5 % ,PWD - 3 % of seats in all category.
  • Annual family income should be less than 6 lakh per annum.
  • You'll be chosen on merit basis against the city you reside in.

How to apply for CBSE Udaan Programme?

  • Go to http://www.cbse.nic.in
  • Read the "Udaan Brochure" carefully.
  • You can fill in the application form online and then submit it.
  • Take a print out of the filled application form.
  • Get the printout verified by the Principal of your schoool.
  • Also get the following documents:
    • Undertaking that you are a regular student.
    • Your family's annual income certificate.
    • Reservation certificate(If applicable).
    • Class 10th Marksheet or Gradesheet.
    • Undertaking to be filled and signed by the parent.
    • After verification collect the verification certificate from your school's Principal.
    • Take all the documents to the city coordinator of the city that you've choosen.
    • Submit your documents to the coordinator and collect the acknowledgement slip.
    • Keep it safely with yourself for future references.
