1. Families affected by B'luru floods to get 25k compensation
After one day of very heavy rainfall in Karnataka, the Cheif Minister visited the areas which were drastically hit by the floods. On Saturday, 24.10.2020 The CM announced that the families affected by the flood will be given compensation of ₹25,000 & assured that the government will try to find out a Permanent solution soon.

3. JDR's candidate shot dead
Janta Dal Rashtravadi Party's candidate, Narayan Singh who was a major part of the upcoming Bihar Assembly Elections was shot dead on 24.10.2020.
He was admitted to a hospital but that didn't help. However two people who allegedly attacked the leader have been arrestested by the Police.

4. Flyovers at Seelampur, Shastri Park Delhi Inaugurated
On Saturday, 24.10.2020 Delhi's Cheif Minister Arvind Kejriwal inaugurated flyovers at Seelampur and Shastri Park.
According to reports now the travel time between ISBT and UP Border will be resuced by 10 minutes.
Cost of the project: Both the flyovers, according to PWD are reported to be completed at the cost of ₹250cr .

5. E-Portal for EV owners by Delhi Government
An e-portal has been launched by the Delhi Government for the owners of Electrical Vehicles- EV to falicitate the disbursal subsidies.
transport Minister said that the government has approved over 100 e-vehicle models for subsidy under this new EV policy. However any Electrical vehicle priced over ₹15lakh will not get any purchase subsidy but will get purchase incentive and exemption of road tax and registration.

6. All UP Police Station to have Glass Room
On Saturday, 24.10.2020. Uttar Pradesh's CM Yogi Adityanath has ordered all the police stations in the state to have a seprate women help desk and a glass room for women complainants.

8. World's longest temple ropeway in Gujarat's Girnar
On Saturday, 24.10.2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the world's longest temple ropeway in Gujrat's Girnar through video confrencing.
About the Ropeway: The ropeway will be able to cover a distance of 2.3km in 7.5 minutes and has a 25 -30 cabins with the capacity of eight people per cabin.

10. ITR for 2020 extended till December 31
On 23.10.2020 The Finance Ministry extended the deadline for filling Income Tax Returns by individuals by a month - upto December 31.
For the taxpayers whose accounts need to be audited, the deadline has been extended by two months till January 31,2021.
