#3. AGE LIMIT:
These are the age requirements for the NPCIL recruitment for the year 2018:

1)     Medical Officer/D (Specialists):
You should not be more than 40 years by 19th April 2018.

2)     Medical Officer/C (GDMO):
You should not be more than 35 years by 19th April 2018.

#4.  EDUCATIONAL PRE-REQUISITES:

These are the educational requirements for a person to be eligible for a career in NPCIL. Both the posts require an individual to be well versed with MS Office and all computer related jobs.

1)     Medical Officer/D (Specialists):
You must have an MS/MD from any recognized University or a similar degree in the concerned specialization.

2)     Medical Officer/C (GDMO):
You must have an MBBS+ 1 Year work experience (1-year compulsory Internship shall not be considered as an equivalent work experience after your completion of the course).

#6. Age Relaxation:
1)      SC/ST: 5 Years

2)      OBC (NCL): 3 Years

3)      PwBD (40%above Disability): 10 Years

6)      Dependents of Defense Persons killed in action: 5 Years

7)      A person domiciled in Kashmir of Jammu and Kashmir from 1/1/1980 to 31/12/1989: 5 Years

Important Details:

  • In case a person is eligible for more than one age relaxation categories then it’ll all be added to provide the required relaxation. However, the maximum age consideration is 56 years old.
  • As per the rules of the Indian Government, relaxations shall be considered for all reserved classes.
  • The OBC applicants have to submit certificates their “creamy layer” or “non-creamy layer” while filling the application form. Candidates belonging to the “creamy layer” are not eligible for the reservations made only for the “non-creamy layer”. The OBC (NCL) Candidates, need to submit a certificate in the format given by the GOI, from an authority issued on or after 1st April 2017. OBC Candidates will have to submit an undertaking authenticating their belongingness to OBC (NCL) category while appearing for an interview.
  • If there is no post available for the reserved classes, then you can apply for the Un-reserved (ur) category, provided you meet all the pre-requisites of the same. But, you won’t be considered for any reservation considerations at any stage.
  • If you are fulfilling all the given criteria, then there is no upper age limit for serving in NPCIL.

#7.  Category of Disablement for Pwbd, during application of the following post:

1)      Medical Officer/D(Specialists) and Medical Officer/C(GDMO):

One arm (OA) and One Leg (OL) – Orthopedically Handicapped

Important notice:

You need to submit your disability certificate certified by authority, otherwise, you won’t be considered.

If you are someone with a disability which is not listed in section 34(1), but, have a certificate, certified by an authority, of 40% or above level of disability, in terms with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Acts, 2016, then you’ll be allowed on the reservations for Pwd, and if you’re selected for UR Vacancies, you’ll be given the job.

#8.  Location of Job posting:

NPCIL Sites placed at Tarapur(MH), Rawatbhata(RJ), Kalpakkam(TN), Narora(UP), Kakrapar(GJ), Kaiga(KT), KundanKulam(TN), Gorakhpur(HY) and upcoming projects of NPCIL. However, if you are a medical officer at NPCIL, you are eligible to be posted at any of the sites of NPCIL.

#9. SELECTION PROCESS:

To be selected as an NPCIL medical officer you will be screened on the basis of the interview which will be of 100 marks. If you belong to UR category you need 70% marks or else 60% for all reserved categories. There may be a written test if the number of candidates is too much. But during final selection, only the marks scored in the Interview will be given weightage. After Interview selected candidates will go through an NPCIL medical test and if you’re declared fit you’ll get the job.

#10. Traveling ALLOWANCES:

Candidates selected for Interview will get a reimbursement for traveling (Not in First AC/3rd AC) only by Rajdhani, Shatabdi or Duronto Express once they produce their bank details.

#11. DOCUMENT VERIFICATION:

It is mandatory to produce these documents before appearing for Interview for the NPCIL recruitment 2018.

D.O.B. Proof: 10th Pass Certificate/ School Leaving Certificate.

Mark Sheets, Internship Certificates, Qualification certificate recognized by MCI.

Updated and renewed registration certificate of being a registered practitioner by MCI or State Medical Council.

“NOC” if you are working in any state government or central office.

Certificate of work Experience.

Disability Certificate for PwBD.

Ex servicemen Certificate for the applicable candidates.

Certificate of (DODPKIA).

Domicile Certificate for Kashmir from 1.1.1980 to 31.12.1989.

SC,ST,OBC(NCL) caste certificates. If they are in regional language then you need to submit a self-certified translated copy of the same.

#12. LANGUAGE OF THE INTERVIEW:

It will be the candidate’s choice to answer in either Hindi or English.

#13. PROCESS OF APPLICATION:

Online Application will start on 21st March 2018 at 10 AM and end on 19th April 2018 at 4PM

Keep ready your scanned copy of a photo in JPEG format of 50KB and signature of 20KB along with other essential details while filling the application form.
